Hi all – I had a miscarriage about 3 wks ago – total so no need for a d&c. For the last week I’ve had sharp stabbing discomforts that begin in my lower abdominal areas then radiate down towards my vaginal area and perineum area. Likewise get the pain whenever I muffle a chair. The sitting action causes the pain and then it disappears.

Been to a doctor and she’s bought a pelvic ultrasound. I have some tenderness above my pubic bone but no finding or smelly CM. So she’s stumped.

Likewise not a UTI as I’m not often peeing or have that burning sensation.

    Anyone had comparable experiences?

I opted for another u/s – both outside and within. They saw something uncommon on my left ovary and insisted that I see a dr in the next 24 hrs.

went straight to a medical center (my new dr only works Mondays at a center in the city) and the dr there said that I have to go to the emergency situation dept straight away to see a gynecologist. I called the emergency situation dept. and told me that it could be a 2-5 hr wait blink.gif

thankfully I managed to call the individual who was going to be my OB and have an appointment with him this afternoon.

I believe the concern is that although I m/c ‘d – it might have been an ectopic pg to start with.

Just figuring it’s my cervix and uterus trying to get back to normal. Let me know how things worked out if you don’t mind.
